Fitness and weightloss

It sounds so simple. But eating healthier foods, giving up alcoholic drinks and taking exercise is a lifestyle change. As such it's very hard to change a lifestyle you enjoy to one you don't. I want to change my lifestyle but I don't have the willpower to make it happen.
Where do you find the inspiration to change your lifestyle?

If you find the answer, share it with me. I could stand to make a change.
I feel like eating the foods I want is some sort of pleasure I deserve...but that is surely the most wrongheaded way to look at it.

Well, I love when my clothes fit better. Also, I didn't like seeing my double chin in the mirror. I cut back on sodium-rich foods and I started drinking more water. I don't see my double chin anymore (I know it's there, but it's not obvious now). I'm still too chicken to weigh myself, though.

I need to cut back on wine, too. I can do it; I've done it before. But I like to sit in front of the computer at night and unwind with a glass (or three) of red wine.

L.B.: If I discover anything I certainly will share it. I suspect it is all in the mind and everyone is different, so I doubt the answer is the same for everybody.

Tara: A little wine can be good for you. I poured myself a glass the other night and the glass was so big I ended up drinking almost a bottle in one go! Easily done when the wine is good.
