Wet wet wet
Well the Roald Dahl festival began in lovely weather. So much effort had gone into the models and handheld wavy things.
Then, just when most of the procession had passed us the rain started. It really came down in buckets and didn't stop. I felt so sorry for all the kids, parents and teachers. Including my family and friends who were part of it too.

That looked like a fun, colorful festival! I like the giant lollipops and the cool skirts!
I'm sorry it rained. Good ole rain seems to know when people are having a good time. It rains on St. Patrick's day over here almost every year.
Tara: Yes it is a colourful festival usually. Lovely to see the characters from the books. But yes, that rain! It really came down.
