Meet Wilbert
My son had first choice and therefore the name of our first goldfish is to be Wilbert. Next weekend we'll get him a partner, they wouldn't sell us two at the same time - I hope Wilbert doesn't get territorial about his fishtank. He seems happy enough on his own but he could use some company.

Congratulations on your new little pet! He is a fine looking fish. I can't believe they wouldn't sell you more than one! At the pet stores around here you can buy bagfuls of goldfish, because some people use them as food for other pets....
Wow...he has a fantastically clean fish tank.
Are you going to get any algae eaters? I always had an algae problem when I had fish.
Oh and they always got Ick. Then they died. Last time we had fish we named them after the Rugrats. The one that lasted the longest was Angelica.

L.B.: Yeah, the more I think about it the less I understand. You mean they sell Goldfish as food? Gosh, I didn't know that!
Rachel: For now it's clean, he's only been living there for a couple of days. I have no idea how we're going to change the water, my wife is the one who reads the books.
Wilbert's a great name! He's a nice colored golfish, that's for sure. A tankmate would make his day! You'll have to take a picture of his partner when you get one for him.
