Dictionary

I was having a quick snack break tonight, a few Ritz crackers and cream cheese. I peeled back the top of the cream cheese and there it was, that little bit of cheese dew that forms a little sour pool of liquid on top. Does that stuff have a name? I'll invent one:

Klab

(Hope that's not already used).

Good word for it! Makes me laugh, and it's easy to remember.

Just drain that klab off of that before you eat it!

Could that also stand for the juice that settles in a pool on cottage cheese? Klab settles in there and you have to stir up the cottage cheese before serving it.

Caatje: I had to think for a minute but I get it now, OED!

Tara: Absolutely. I've seen it on fromage frais too.
