Having a relatively wet summer this year may have a correlation with me noticing a larger spread of red in the countryside. A number of fields I don't normally think twice about are awash with the red of poppies. It's quite lovely to see.
L.B.: It is fairly uncommon to see a field of wild poppies but this year I have. The photo is illustrative because I wasn't quick enough to take my own.
