A stroll in the park

On the first day of my holiday I took the family to a country park we've not been to before. It's not far away and I had no real expectations. However, I thought it was quite a good morning out and my kids, who were grumbling, within the first half hour were both playing well and asking if we could stay.
A nice touch was some of the wooden things embedded into the park at unexpected places. You'll see what I mean when you look at the photos below.

It looks quite charming. I think time spent outdoors with kids is the best!

Oh my goodness, I love that door in the tree! I can definitely see why this park was a big hit for everyone!

LB: They were so grumbly about going out and yet nce they were outside they didn't want to go home! Fickle!
