Big Brother contestant Shahbaz has decided to leave the house. He was actually an entertaining housemate to watch and I'm disappointed he has gone. The other housemates turned on him and hunted him like a pack of wolves. It really is interesting psychology to see how the will of the pack is stronger than people as individuals - in the diary room we see people expressing some regret at the departure of a fellow housemate. But outside of that intimate personal reflective space, the pack is hunting and nobody intervenes to defend him. It does have to be said that Shahbaz was emotionally unstable and obviously has a lot of issues that cannot be resolved by a TV gameshow. I wonder how his departure - particularly the nature of it - will affect the other relationships in the house?
