My family and I love our local library. There's just so many interesting books, videos, and stuff there. I especially like it when they have a clear out and sell off CDs, videos, DVDs and videogames. At the weekend we bought several cartoons that I've considered picking up at full price and rejected on grounds of cost. But they were on sale for a pound each, so we spent about twelve pounds in total on a variety of things. I picked up several episodes from different versions of Power Rangers, Transformers (the original series) and Heman and The Masters of the Universe. I don't know what to make of Power Rangers really, I missed out on them when I was a child/teenager just being a bit too old. This is the first time I've really watched them. They are sort of amusing in a cheap and trashy way. The kids like play acting the coloured rangers. I have concerns though about the violence, so I'm rationing their intake and making sure they watch it with me rather than on their own. They're very cartoon-like and this is what is interesting to me. I gather from Wikipedia that not every version is of equal quality, so it'll be interesting finding out whether Space is better than Dino Thunder and Ninja Storm.

Transformers? They're "more than meets the eye", you know. :D I used to love Heman, and I also used to watch Thundercats and Scooby Doo. Oh and of course Bugs Bunny. I miss those, I wish they were on Saturday mornings again. I never took a liking to the Power Rangers, though.
Robots in disguise! Great stuff, love Scooby Doo too. My favourite was Battle of the Planets though.
The Red Ranger has bulked up and is now doing gay porn - Austin St John. Nice.
I`ve just checked and apparently it may be a looky likey.
Ha ha, the sad thing is that I'm not sure it's worse than Power Rangers - I suppose the acting is wooden in both, get me? ;-)
